STOP-DWI Check Points Results for Halloween Night STOP-DWI Crackdown;

Deputy Sheriffs conducted Sobriety Checks Points in several locations in the Town of Ontario on Saturday, October 31.

The Sobriety Check Points resulted in 5 people being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and related offenses, 4 people for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, and another 10 traffic tickets issued for various traffic infractions.

DWI and related arrests:

Steven J. Kress of Hollybush Lane, Ontario with a BAC of .18%;

Colton D. Youngkrans of Lake Road, Ontario with a BAC .14%;

Kristi A Mack, Seely Road, Williamson with a BAC of .12%;

Alex A. Wemesfelder of Shoemaker Road, Webster with a BAC of .09%;

Megan N. Burmester of Ridge Road, Ontario for DWAI with a BAC of .06%.

Unlawful Possession of Marihuana arrests:

Maliq R. Gillian of Smith Street, Sodus;

Timothy G Mannix of Pearsall Road, Marion;

Bryn K Kwiatkowski of Vienna Road, Arcadia;

Tysha N Tachell of Sherman Ave., Newark.

All arrested individuals were released on appearance tickets and/or uniform traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Ontario Court on November 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.

Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by the Wayne County Probation Office.
